Websites, Forms, Applications
For businesses of all sizes—a focused fix, a better version of an existing system, or a connected mix of websites, forms, automations and project support—planned in plain English, triple human-verified, and handed over ready to work.
Not a hire. Not on payroll.
The OnHand difference
Every email is read and answered by Dan—a real person, not a chatbot. Dan Wright owns OnHandHQ and manages every project personally: a decade in the field building and improving systems—across health care, supply chains and other logistical support, the kind of work where a missed detail costs real money and a clean handover matters. Before anything is delivered, three real people run the same checklist independently: Dan’s build check, a tech-background tester’s technical pass, and a supply-chain tester’s fresh-eyes pass. Anything that fails stops the chain until it’s fixed, and nothing ships without Dan’s final sign-off.
No bots. No automated QA theatre.
What I build
A form fixed. An existing system improved. A website, app MVP or playable prototype built. Or several moving pieces made to work together. The scope fits the job—not the other way around.

Game and app work is scoped for a useful handoff: a playable prototype, a focused vertical slice or an app MVP, with the source and practical guidance to keep moving. Longshot—Dan’s game build—is the working proof behind this lane.
Pick one, combine a few, or use these as prompts for something different.
Website
One page, one job: explain the offer and get the visitor to act.
Lead flow
Ask the right questions up front, so a quote is one good look—not a chain of emails.
Booking
Clients pick a time that works—no phone tag, no double-booking.
Client intake
New clients give you everything you need, in the right order, first try.
App development
The smallest useful version of your app idea, built to test with real users.
Godot game development
Your core mechanic, playable—so you can feel whether the game works.
Vertical slice
One level or flow, finished to the standard the whole product should hit.
Automation
Form answers filed neatly, the right person notified, and follow-ups a real person stays on top of—nothing falls through the cracks.
Internal tool
The handful of numbers you actually check, in one place, always current.
System improvement
Your existing system, mapped and tightened—improved, not replaced.
Coordination
Who’s doing what, by when, in one view everyone can understand.
Project support
A launch broken into steps a small team can actually finish.
Handover
Files, access, and plain-English notes so nothing lives only in one person’s head.
Two real tools, built the way a client build is—go ahead and try them. Both run on sample data.
Live demo · Internal tool
A home-care week as a tool—mark visits done, the summary stays current, export the spreadsheet.
Try the visit logLive demo · Client intake
One form in—a clean filed document out, with a reference number.

General ranges in Canadian dollars. Every job is quoted at one fixed price before work starts—the quote is free, carries no obligation, and includes a realistic target timeline. No deposit. You pay when the finished work is handed over.

How it works
Explain it the way you’d explain it to a colleague—I’ll do the translating. Send a sentence or a novel; you’ll get a response with my fullest understanding within a week, often sooner.
Limited project capacity. I take on only a few projects at a time, and every quote includes a realistic target timeline.
1
An email, a list, a screenshot—whatever you have. Imperfect is fine.
2
A recommendation, any questions, good/better/best scope ranges, a target timeline, and early mock-ups whenever the work allows.
3
Deliverables, a fixed price, and a clear finish line. If the ask is too big, I’ll say so—and suggest the smaller slice that works.
4
Three people verify the work independently. Any fail stops the chain until it’s fixed and re-verified.
5
You commit only when you approve the work for handover—then payment and ownership are exchanged.
6
Files, access, and practical guidance. It lives in your accounts, under your control.
Handover
The whole workflow, start to finish. The finished work is set up in your own accounts, under your name—and my access is removed at handover. No lock-in, no hostage data, no ongoing fee to keep what you paid for.
Explain the problem the way you’d explain it to a colleague. Work from forms or templates now? Send them with confidential details removed—they’re a great starting point. Everything you share stays confidential.
A fixed price in Canadian dollars, with a target timeline. Free, and no obligation. If the job isn’t a fit, I’ll say so straight—and suggest the smaller piece that is, if one exists.
No deposit. Work starts when you approve the quote, and you see early mock-ups as the build takes shape—not just a reveal at the end. Two rounds of revisions are included.
Three independent checks: a build check, a technical pass, and a fresh-eyes pass. If any check fails, work stops until it’s fixed and re-verified. Nothing reaches you half-tested.
Set up in your website host, your invoicing account, your files—with a plain-English handover note: what was built, where it lives, how to use it, and how to make common changes yourself. Then my access is removed.
The invoice arrives with the handover. Pay by e-transfer to hello@onhandhq.ca. You pay for finished, verified work—never on hope.
If something in the delivered scope doesn’t work as agreed within 14 days of handover, it gets fixed at no charge.
Plain language in → free fixed quote → build → triple human verification → handover in your accounts → pay on delivery → 14 days of cover.
The deal
You review the completed work before you decide—no paying on hope, no shoddy-work risk, and no refund chase. Your commitment happens at the handover, not before.
A real human at hello@onhandhq.ca
Send the imperfect version—a sentence, a list, a screenshot. A real human reads it, sifts the ask, and replies within a week, usually earlier.
No chatbot. No automated runaround.
Prefer plain email? Write to hello@onhandhq.ca instead—same inbox, same human.
Free scoping look · No upfront payment · No obligation before handover
